Every seven seconds, Samaritans answer a call for help. They are there, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. Samaritans are not only for the moment of crisis, they are there taking action to prevent the crisis. They give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others.
Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and Samaritans’ vision is that fewer people die by suicide. That’s why they work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
Day or Night, if you find yourself in any sort of crisis, they are just a phone call away via a free number 116 123
Through-out may I will be running a total of 50 miles to help raise the money they need to keep up the amazing work they do. So if you have a few spare pounds then please head over and donate by clicking the button below.
